When ballet started back up this year, Rosemary was not the only one to go. Charlotte started taking lessons as well and as it works out, their classes meet at the same time.

Once again, Doxa’s recital told the story of Christ’s redeeming love. We love this dance studio. This year, we took Ben for the first time. He did great!

Five recitals already. How is this possible???
Rosemary’s recital theme this year was Frozen: The Love of Christ Can Melt a Frozen Heart. Rosemary isn’t a Frozen fan. At all. But, she managed to have good attitude through the prep and the program.
Her class was Northern Lights.

Rosemary’s class rehearsed the finale. It was to Let It Go. The song she likes least in the entire movie. I was just happy that she didn’t refuse to go on stage. That’s progress.

On August 15, Rosemary kicked off her fifth year of ballet. She has a new teacher this year and is now at the intermediate level, which means she does work at the barre and no longer begins the class with special news.

Once again, we celebrated another fun ballet year with Rosemary’s end-of-the-year recital. This was Rosemary’s fourth recital and I think it was my favorite one thus far.
Rosemary’s dance was called “Asia” this year and it was great fun. It was pretty much everything you would expect.

Afterwards, we headed to Red Robin for a post-recital celebration. We picked up Ben and Charlotte from our friend’s home (thank you, Kevin & Debbie!) since they aren’t quite ready to sit through a 2 hour dance performance.
