On July 2, Benjamin turned 2. Jonathan took the day off so that we could celebrate as a family.
We headed to Chick-fil-a for some lunch and the indoor playground. It was crazy busy that day.
After lunch we headed back home to open presents. Ben got a mini-room makeover so that we could squeeze the train table in.
Opening his new Thomas movies.
After presents, we loaded up the car and headed to Longwood.
Waiting to blow out the candle.
On Saturday, we celebrated with our Central Florida family and friends at my parents house. We feasted on fried chicken, baked beans, coleslaw, green beans, chips, rolls, cake and homemade strawberry ice cream. Since we ordered the chicken, it was super easy…thank you, Publix.
I had found these decals the weekend before for $1 at a garage sale. Ben thought they were awesome.
When Ben saw his cake, he would not rest until he had that Thomas in his hands.

Wow I can't believe Ben is 2! Looked like a fun train birthday. What is it with 2 year old boys and trains. Anyway, happy belated birthday Ben.
