Charlotte’s First Birthday Party
Last weekend we celebrated Charlotte’s first birthday with friends and family down in Longwood. The kids and I headed down on Thursday so that we could get things ready for the party on Saturday. My nieces and nephew were still with my parents and they were a huge help in getting things ready.

Got this massive chocolate cake from Costco and I wrote Happy Birthday (which is why it doesn’t look so good) and Schuyler added the pink border for me.

Not too messy at all. She seemed to enjoy her first taste of chocolate cake…and she even took a good nap later.
Abby and Rosemary played outside for quite awhile together. At one point Rosemary buried one of Abby’s toy mermaids and couldn’t remember where she buried it. So we were out there digging through the backyard. Eventually dad got a spade for me and I found it. Crazy girls!!!
